To War Once More: From 1941-1945, American found itself in the middle of its second global conflict. Harley-Davidson played an invaluable role during this period by production approximately 90,000 military model cycles for use on virtually every front. Allied forces took full advantage of the reliable Harley-Davidson. In 1945 alone, the Russians manned 30,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles in its final advance through Eastern German to end the German resistance at Berlin.
